Piedmont Green Power
Lamar County, Georgia
Located in Barnesville, Georgia, Piedmont Green Power will supply electrical energy to more than 40,000 homes when we begin operations in 2012. And because we are a biomass plant, it will be clean, sustainable energy. The plant will create jobs and add substantially to the tax base of Lamar County. Piedmont Green Power will be a good neighbor and an asset to the community.
