Rollcast Energy, Inc. Announces New Vice President of Engineering

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (May 20, 2009) - Rollcast Energy, Inc. today announced the hiring of Dave Kluttz as Vice President, Engineering. In his new role, Mr. Kluttz will manage all aspects of the design of Rollcast’s plants. Mr. Kluttz comes to Rollcast Energy with almost forty years of experience in engineering, project and contract management and operations. He has a particular expertise in renewable energy technologies.

Of particular interest is his extensive experience as Manager of Engineering Resources & Renewable Energy Systems with Duke Engineering & Services. He worked with Duke for over 30 years.

Before joining the Rollcast team, Kluttz was Director of Engineering and Research & Development at Acciona Solar Power, an industry leader in CSP technology. In this role, he was responsible for the pre-EPC design and engineering support of operating plants, managed two Department of Energy R&D grants for thermal storage of solar energy and led basic engineering for new project development and permitting.

In addition, his experience in other renewable technologies and his over thirty years in power will allow him to contribute greatly to our growth.”

Kluttz also served as President and Manager, Business Development at Sustainable Engineers, PLLC , a firm that provided consultation to power generation, transmission and distribution companies.

In addition, he is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and served in the past as National Vice President of the General Engineering Group.

Mr. Kluttz earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and is a registered professional engineer in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Louisiana.
