Dave Kluttz, Vice PresidentDavid comes to Rollcast Energy with almost 40 years of experience in areas ranging from engineering, project, and contract management to renewable energy technologies. Of particular note, he has extensive experience as a Manager of Engineering Resources & Renewable Energy Systems at Duke Engineering & Services. Most recently, David was Director of Engineering and Research & Development at Acciona Solar Power (ASP), responsible for pre-EPC design and engineering support of operating plants. At ASP, an industry leader in Concentrating Solar Thermal Power technology, he managed the pre-EPC engineering design for Nevada Solar One, a 64 MWe solar thermal power plant near Boulder City, NV, and three 50 MWe solar thermal power plants in Spain. He also managed ASP’s US Department of Energy R&D grants for thermal storage of solar energy and managed basic engineering for new project development and permitting. Previously, David served as President and Manager, Business Development at Sustainable Engineers, PLLC – a firm that provided consultation to power generation, transmission, and distribution companies. In addition, he is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and served in the past as National Vice President of the General Engineering Group. David earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and is a registered professional engineer in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Louisiana. |
