Charlie Wemyss
Mr. Wemyss, has 27 years of experience in the Pulp, Paper and Independent Power Production sectors. Mr. Wemyss is currently an employee of Atlantic Power Corporation, A TSX listed company engaged in the independent power and electric transmission business. His title is Director, Acquisitions & Asset Management. Mr. Wemyss joined Atlantic power in September 2006, and prior to that was the Vice President of Hydroelectric Operations for Ridgewood Power Management and Acadia Energy, LLC. Mr. Wemyss spent more than 20 years in the pulp and paper sector in various capacities from paper mill operations to pulp and paper sales in North America and northern Europe. He is a former Captain of United States Marine Infantry, and has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New Hampshire.
